He was buried 4 May 1977 in St. Mary's Cemetery at Port Washington, Ozaukee County. His death is recorded in Ozaukee County death records, v 35, no. 197. According to the death record, he was a retired construction worker and resided at Route 1, Belgium. The informant was Victor Mayer, 5125 North 70th Street, Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, 53218. He married Rose Pousley 17 November 1909 at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church. Reverend M. Oberlinkels presided. Witnesses were Peter Mayer of Town of Fredonia and Anna Pousley of Town of Belgium. The marriage is recorded in the marriage register of the church.
